Human Knot

We reach into the circle Grab a hand that isn't next to us. Any hand, millions to choose from across a circle of a thousand miles but we make it work. And then we're all stuck together. We may choose to undo this knot, this dream catcher. All these strings of arms and hands To duck beneath, just to wind up in a bigger mess than we started with. Or we can stay, just the way that we are now Intertwined in a circle, weaved with the connection each of us has to each other Because we know there's nothing that could unravel us, and there's no way we could unravel ourselves Without completely tearing everything apart.
