Human Perspective

A temperate setting.

Sun setting like a painter's mastepiece.

Birds calling in the background,

keeping me in the middle of imagination

and reality.

Undulating waves draw me in

with the redolent scent of the sea.

I stand two feet in the sand as the waters

bring me down deeper.

Loosing balance I fall

over into the water.

Now mouth full of the brackish water,

I run home.

Away from the blasted sea.
