Humanity

Humanity-

We can be cruel.

Heartless.

Vicious.

We attack each other-

Slashing our words,

Breaking their hearts,

Conjuring all evil,

Dragging them down. 

We don't realize-

There can be equality.

Our blood is cold-

Creating wicked creatures.

We have barricaded beauty-

Destroying hope.

Lessons are taught,

Love is shown.

We cry for hope-

Drowning in fear,

Breathing of death. 

Who will save us?

What have we done?
