You know, I sit here and…

I wanna write. I'm not sure how and I'm not sure what and I'm not really even sure why.

I mean I guess I'm writing because I'm bored.

Because t.v. is starting to bore me.

Because the anxiety of college starting soon is beginning to overwhelm me.

Because as clearly as I know who I am, I know that everyone else may lack that clarity.

I mean if we're being honest, no one knows who we are better than we do.

We like to think we know people but truthfully we know nothing.

We. Know. Nothing.

And frankly it's impossible to know anything.

So why do we try?

Why do we presume to understand this world we live in?

Why do we like to think that we know how others like to think?

Why do we think we know ourselves?

So…what if we're not that complex?

Would that really be so bad?

What if we aren't special snowflakes?

What if God has forsaken us?

Does that mean we give up?

Do we refuse to go on living…until what?

We're granted some spectacular retribution?

Until all of this is made to make sense…

I doubt it.
