Humanize

(poems go here)Doers, not just the thinkers,
Those who not only imagine, but like to tinker.
The fixers, the winners, those who revolutionize from their inner,
Society wants them to follow the status quo,
But we won’t have that, no we won’t.
It is those that see through kaleidoscope eyes,
That lead our human race to rise.
They are ever-persistent, yet they are doubted.
People want to see them doing well, but not better than routed.
But I’m on the tips of my toes, the edge of my seat,
Comparing and creating ideas, trying to keep my excitement discreet.
They make me happy; their efforts do not go unappreciated,
Attempts to advance us, plans to expand us, keep me elated.
I like when kids are taught not what to think,
but how to think.
When you can see the gears turn,
When question and logic are brought into the equation,
That is how they ought to learn.
We should fill our minds to their capacities,
In order for us to efficiently and fairly lead.
It may seem ideal, to want a world with no separation,
But we can close the existing gap by increasing this education.
“Be the change you wish to see in the world,”
is what pushes this atypical girl to try to be an asset this atypical world
The prospect of being a catalyst of advancement puts a smile on my face,
I wish to pass down that happiness;
I hope to help more people understand the importance of that place.
