Humble Cry

Lord Please hear my humble cry, for I am now surrendering my soul I’ve cried many days and cry many weep many nights Trying to find someone to blame for the faults in my life I don’t know where to go or where to turn But it was YOU who I blamed, and now I am scorned Who am I? Why am I here? I feel I serve no purpose I’ve sinned against you, went against your word even though I knew it was wrong I ran form your mighty hands and the comfort of your arms Only to be played as the devil’s pawn? I blame myself, but I do not forgive myself, for I have done too much Lord please hear my humble cry, I now surrender to you I am only human, with these words I call out Oh help me please; I am suffering in many ways Only you can fix the pain that invades I am discouraged form the words I hear about myself I know I had many shortcomings, but I also did help Father, God, my soul weeps and looks forward to death Please help me with life, prior to the destruction to myself I come to you on this day, in your son’s name I will pray Farther, God please hear my humble cry on this reprehensible day
