Humble not Dumb

My morality creed identity
Breeds peace unity and humility
Putting all achievements secondary
Irrespective premium is placed on humanity
Yet same humanity draws judgement formed by society
Elements of what is intelligent or preferred correct
I elect to switch left
Stay unassuming comes at a price end result my undoing
Sometimes even though most times I top it off
Stay true to my cause stray off the bluff huff puff
Misread misunderstood miss on miss
Dare not confuse persona with set guide rules
Draw nearer see clearer
My modest appear is a facade dear
Not one to dumb down but speak volumes loud in the ear
Similar in difference is better sought out
Keep rules to guide not to weed out
A mile in my shoe and you may understand
This portrait is colorful not in the slightest bland
