The humming of the fan

Sleeping in silence is a frightening idea If the closest taste to death is when the eyes shut at night then complete silence is the pulling of the trigger Leave the fan on, mother leave the television on, brother Allow the dogs to bark and the sirens to cry let me hear these signs of life before my mind begins on unconscious roads Sleeping in silence is already being dead
