Hummingbird
One Melody
One Rhyme
One Rhythm
One Note
It takes but a few seconds to change someone’s life
Be Honest
Be Kind
Be Humble
Be Heard
Break down their barriers;
allow them to fight.
Catharsis evoked
Barriers Crumble
I wrote the words
I sang the notes. . .
To let the world discover that they are not alone.
To give a new definition of what can be “Home.”
You seek fame and fortune?
Why, what for?
I’ll show you something real once I get my foot in the door
This mind can’t be bottled for it longs to be heard
Longs to spread a few “enlightened” words
You could say I am a teacher,
though a student for some,
trying to spread knowledge amongst Guitars and Drums.
Just feel the Rhythm
Just move to the Beat
Listen to the Words we are too afraid to speak
A change is among us
It lingers in the air
My Voice echoes in it
In my dreams I am there
Let open your eyes
Whilst they close to the world
Music: On
World: Off
I shall not be disturbed
It is not only my life that will change, but yours;
Provoked by humanities infinite doors.
For I have seen so much
And my mind loves to ponder
All of the darkness as well as the wonder
Those who stood by my side shall not be forgotten
If I ever do get to play Madison Square Garden
For you are the forces that have gotten me here
With your passion for life
And for knowledge
With your listening ears
One Melody
One Note
One Rhyme
One word
Forget Famous and Fortunate
What I long to be is Heard
So give me a chance
You won’t regret if you do
Give me a chance
To do what I love to do
