Hunger Games Tribute

Bleak, dirty, poor No hope, no more Sore and tired Dreams escaped Once a year Families, torn apart Or celebrate an honor For the top districts Bravery, love, stupidity To give one life for another First to volunteer to battle for Life Brawn, muscle, money To form alliances Training, power, Bullseye Underdog, wit, intelligence Survival, Strength, Stealth Bullseye, Bullseye, Bullseye Strength and Power only work for so long Care, compassion, courage And love Last forever Until the end, death appears to have won Quick wit and knowledge Tricks the enemy for two to win But is the enemy really ever defeated? The Capitol can never rest in the face of lover’s changes and cheats Revenge looms Publicity has worked in another’s favor
