Hungers

Some people hunger for sweets or adventure Or to succeed from student to mentor. Some people hunger for power and money drawn like bees to flowers and honey. But no, I hunger to wake - sleepy eyes - taste your skin with kisses and sighs. And still I hunger to wait so silent in sudden awe of heartbeat, breathing quiet. Oh, such sweet hunger to trace and caress with my head resting gently on chest. Oh, such cruel hunger to want and wait: something so far to touch to sate. Some people hunger to triumph to out-do, But I hunger for you, only you.
