Hungry
I've loved so much and lost so much already,
In the short time that I've been here.
Living this twisted life I've accumulated alot of baggage and cried so many tears.
I try to keep my head up and contain the hurt I have inside,
But when the tears do come I wipe my eyes.
The progress I make still doesn't mask;
All the horrors of my past.
I still have to up and move through the pain.
And sometimes I'm weak from the strain;
And sometimes I'm weary of the struggle of pursuing change.
Sometimes I'm tired before I even begin a new day, of this life of mine. . .
I wake up gasping for breath; Because I need every last one to make up for lost time.
