Hungry

She watches me. Still without moving a muscles I lay awake waiting

waiting

waiting

what feels like an eternity goes by when I finally hear her

call me outve the darkness

she says "why do you lay so still child"

i told her "this is how I act when I'm being watched"

she said "I've been watching you all your life this isn't how you act when you're being watched this is how you act when you're in fear"

"Wouldn't you be in fear if you were to realize your entire life is nothing more than entertainment for some other worldly beings"

"you better act accordingly life's a show and those who don't play their roles get cut from the cast"

that's when I decided to dance.
