The Hungry

Sweat dripping

heavy breathing

tension in the air.

Rivals screaming

spectators witnessing

only the rare.

Inspiration steaming

effortlessly rising

towards the thirsty.

While they sit,

hungry for the risky,

waiting for the winning.

Then the two start

once again

on a mission.

Yet there is more

lingering in the atmosphere

slowly coming to fruition.

There it is

fighting between the two

with no completion.

While the witnessing,

not knowing

they desired competition.

It was there

all along

bigger than the small picture.

It was becoming clearer,

to the sitting,

that it was worth their admission.

Motivation and inspiration

was why they came

but the main course was competition.

They were always hungry

thirsty for an unknown solution

to fuel their ambition.

Now they rested,

visitors satisfied and full,

until it started all over again.
