Hungry

There's no other moment like the present. Where no one should hurt like stiff cement. Rebent. Like the tree outside the window. Now I have no other place to go. No one to give me strength in time of sorrow. Nothing to keep me alive till tomorrow. Why oh why must I go through this pain, through the suffering, through the rain. While everyone else enjoys peaceably, the meals on their table, gathering increasingly. Growing day by day, like their ever flowing pantries, while I lay here despising, reprising, hoping to become surprising. You give a gift, a charitable life changer, you have no idea the impact of that favor. A life was saved today, another meal given away. No more worry about what may come tomorrow. No more pain and no more sorrow. Nutrition is always a better healer, to give new life to those with hunger, is like growing the radiance of a new Spring flower.  Another child says thank you today, and meant it. Oh how there's no other moment -  like the present.
