Hurdles

I run my fastest, go my farthest, but once I get to that hurdle, I stop. It hurts that I have this habit, because I know that I can run hurdles. Funny that hurdles are my hurdle in life. It has come to the point that I hate hurdles. I despise to even look at them. My self esteem has been crushed, thanks to these hurdles. But when I think about it, when I think long and hard, I realize that I have a small love for hurdles. That is because I can boast and say, "Look at me! I run hurdles!" Hurdles are an enigma. I hate them, but I love them. Maybe it's because I am a child, who doesn't know how to make up my mind. but hurdles are mind-boggling things to me.
