Hurricane

Excuse me while I am in my feelings,

I am on one side while on the other ,

My intentions are being read as something completely different.

My emotions are a hurricane,

Category 5.

As these winds increase destroying the land, my self esteem.

The oceans that are my eyes are overflowing,

Following the rivers along my cheeks that had previously been flowed.

Over and over again.

The debris cuts up what I know,

Leaving me clueless.

My home, my heart, has been patched up many times before is weak,

Threatening to collapse under the weight...

A leaf,

A raindrop,

Even the lightest touch will cause it to fall and...

Cease to exist...

Excuse me while I get lost in the sea that is my feelings.

Thank you so much! This is the first time I've shared my poems and I was nervous of how people would react to it. Thanks so much.
