Hurried Hoardies
glossy floorboards
tell no stories
watch the time
you hurried hoardies
clean your eyes
and fix you ears
watch your feet
the time is here
crunching crinkled
leaves below
the starry eyes
make pavement glow
the words of men
they made her bow
cut down the herd
you broke your vow
she rules like queens
before a show
lay down the sword
you're free to go
but always watching
see can see
your horrid infidelity
turn her way
up to her bow!
her ship won't sink
she hopes you'll drown
scraps from erasers
trail your toes
you think you're lost
she always knows
who you are
and where you'll be
your hoarded infidelity
