Hurt

Hey you ....

I have been hurt before thousands and thousands of times.

I have shed tears before thousands and thousands of times.

I have felt regret before. I have been stabbed in the chest before.  I have felt less before.

And it all hurts.

I have ripped my heart out and put it on the line thousands and thousands of times.

I have walked miles for you barefoot thousands and thousands of times.

I have felt pain before . I have been left in the rain before. I have felt strange before .

And all of this hurts.

It hurts more than ever before . It hurts more than you ever can imagine. But it hurts even more because you are blind to the fact and deaf to the horrible sound of me screaming “It hurts”.
