Hurt

He smiled at me and I smiled back.

We laughed together, we were close.

I told him I liked him, he said he felt the same.

He Lied.

He stopped smiling at me.

We stopped laughing, we drifted apart.

He said to me, "I don't feel that way anymore."

He Left.

I smile by myself.

I laugh by myself.

I tell myself, "You don't need him." But I still feel

Hurt.
