Hurt

They did not like me,

despised my appearance,

Insulted my culture,

Disgusted by my opinions,

Jealous of my tounge,

and sick of my being

So they pushed me around,

reminded  me daily

how unworthy I was

They did not want me

in their land.

I did not understand,

It brutally hurt me,

destroyed me mentally,

drained me emotionally

and left me paralyzed

They slapped me as they pleased,

and found joy in my pain.

They did not like me,

they despised me.
