Hurt

My heart is beating - tho with sorrow
Because I miss you and wonder if I'll see you tomorrow
You chose that bastard over me
The one who still lies and cheats.
He did things I can't forgive - that made me the way I am
Everywhere I go I see your face - and wonder
"Momma - why'd you have to let go of me?"
This pain - it hurts and cuts me deep
Like the blades I've used on me.
It hurts and I'm sad to say -
I'm afraid I won't see you again;
Before you go away...
