Hurt

You talk about loving boys.

What is this?

I don't understand.

Maybe it's because I'm gay.

Maybe it's because I never thought girls in my school could be straight before I met you.

I also shipped half the school with each other, but I did many things before I met you.

I was right about two of the ships, but no more.

You see this boy.

You see something in him that I don't and something in boys that I never will.

That shouldn't mean you get to hurt me mentally because of that.

That shouldn't mean you treat me different.

That shouldn't mean anything.

I'm still the same girl you knew.

You just found out something about me.

I don't understand how you see boys, and you don't understand how I see girls.

I don't get how that's something to use against me.

It's not, but somehow you hurt me.
