Hurt
Stick a knife in me, with your words
See my blood running, it’s the hurt.
Speak your poison loud and foul.
I’ll sit here silent in the crowd.
I’m in the ocean drowning in my tears.
While you’re a float invoking more fears.
Stop and think what are you doing?
Have you seen my bleed with all your wrong doing?
This earth is cruel and you are foul
Look at me sitting in the crowd.
Look and see the hurt you bring
I’m not some act in a circus ring
I’ll put a stop to this mistreatment
To save another soul from this torment
I’ll do my best to help you stop
Just hope and pray you didn’t drive me with a shot…
