HURT

I’M HURTING TODAY MORE THAN YOU KNOW,

MORE THAN I’LL LET, LET OUT AND SHOW.

TO YOU IT’S JUST ANOTHER DAY,

BUT FOR ME THERE IS NO OTHER WAY.

TO LET AND LIVE,

AND ALWAYS GIVE.

TO LAUGH AND LOVE,

FOR THE ONE ABOVE.

FOR HIM TO KNOW WHATS IN MY HEAD,

AS I SLEEP I UPON MY BED.

I’M HURTING TODAY MORE THAN YOU KNOW,

BUT I’LL SMILE THROUGH WITH A LOVELY GLOW.

TO YOU I’LL LOOK LIKE EVERYDAY,

BUT FOR ME IT IS THE ONLY WAY.

TO WINCE AWAY,

IN FIREY PAIN.

AND THEN TURN BACK,

WITH SMILES AND LAUGHS.

I’M SORRY TO SAY,

I’M SORRY YOU KNOW,

BECAUSE FINALLY,

I   CHOSE TO SHOW,

THE PAIN I FEEL SO FAR INSIDE,

A WAVE I FEEL WITH FIREY TIDE.
