HURT

When I look at myself i think,
my eyes they blink,
my hands they tremble.

I can feel the pounding in my skull,
when they say these lies
 these lies i face
I can not embrace.

I embrace the thoughts,
the thoughts of love,
that you can ruin in just
a push or shove.

Now don't let people tell you, things that aren't true.
Just know it's up to you,
to choose the fate
the fate you live,
show them what they couldn't give.
