Hurt by you

You hurt me to the core And you don’t even know it Time and time again I come back thinking that maybe things changed But they haven’t You’re still that same person That person that is so cold to me That person that pushes me away That person that only shows anger The question of do you resent me stays in my mind I’ve been meaning to ask you that question I wonder if you even want this relationship Because all you do is hurt Hurt me with your words With your actions With your distance What can I do to make you see I want this? I want us to work How could I have been your loved child one minute? To your oh yea she’s mine Something has to change Because sooner or later I will stop trying And walk away

I'm a good person, but I've been hurt a lot.
