Hurting

I sit here hurting,

Unnumb and full of pain.
My heart hearts,
And I feel really lame.

My heart bleeds,
Black,red, and blue,
The words she told me we're not true.

I miss us,
The way we used to be.
Talk all night and I'd listen to you breathe.

I want you to notice me,
But now I am ignored,
This is why my heart is sore.

I trusted you like I did with the others,
And now I pay, because I have no lover.

I love you all,
The ones who broke me,
How could I not,
 you took it with you.

You took the little bits,
And pieces of my heart,
Now it will not mend,
It is tiny,
But refuses to give in.

I think that's what depresses me the most,
My brain has given up,
But my heart just won't.
