Hurting Became A Habit
Why Is This Happening To Me? Is The Question I Asked - When The Mental Unbalance Was On My Brain Like A Mask.- Lonely Days Not Just Nights Where The Sun Never Passed - Being Hurt By Him Where The Pain Will Last - I Would Ask God To Help Me Stay Strong- Cause That Stuff At Home Had My Life Going Wrong- Where To The Point With Myself I Can't Get Along.- And Hurting Became A Habit Like A Tune To A Song,- Why Is This Happening To Me? Is What I Can't Understand- Why Am I A Young Woman Getting Hurt By A Man,- Why Was The People Around Me Letting It Stand,- When I Was
Screaming For Help With A Razor In My Hand, - Man, When Is This Gonna End?- I've Been Going Through It Since I Was Jus A Young Kid.-Like Life For Me Was Only To Me What Others Did- Oh God I Ask With Tears In My Eyes, Can You Get Rid Of These Demons That Are Destroying My Life, - I Write And Write Til My Fingers Hurt, - Anything Was Better Then Feeling Like Dirt. - At First I Felt Alone With No One To Trust. - And To Be Hurt I Felt As If As A Women I Must, - No One Could Stop It Is What I Believed, - Since I Myself Was Born A Bastard Seed, -I Would Think.. Is This Reason We Bleed...-To Be Force Into A Life That Only Few Would Succeed? -That Can't Be, Because My Testimony Isn't Done -Cause I Eventually Had No Place To Hide And Run. - So I Stand Here Today With A Message To Send - To Yall Women Whose Life Has A Spin, - No Matter What Has Happened To You Never Let It Ride - Make Sure You Get The Right People By Your Side, -Speak Up And Don't Be Afraid To Get Help - Because Your Not Hurting Them When You Cause Pain To Yourself. - Now Close Your Eyes And To God Pray - And Remember That Tomorrow Holds A Better Day, - Pray For Strength And Praise Him, -Remember Your Worth More, In Jesus Name Amen.
