Hush Little Bird

Hush now little bird
And listen to the song I play
The harmonies blend like the flowing grass
And the notes set like the sun

The words as clean as the air
And the rhythmic sounds of birds chirping fill my ears
Hush now little bird
Listen to the song I play

The rumbling of the deep melodies fill the ragged spaces
And the crescendo builds, letting sunshine fill in the dark
Hush now little bird
Listen to the song I play

By the time the crescendo ends
And the dawn turns to dusk
My song is now over,
With the sound of music no longer flowing through the path of life
You say to me

Hush now, my little bird.
Listen to the song I play.
