Hustle

pushing, passing, progressing swiftly through life blindly, the passage of time and multiplying responsibilities are not treating me kindly, there is much more to do that slowly sinks its claws into my free soul to bind me, sowing stress and sleeplessness as a message to remind me: "there is more to do and so little time remaining, hurry up, hustle, the opportunities are waning, slow down now and you'll find regret gaining, taking a hold and leaving you crying, cringing, complaining." Hustle now and relax later or is it the other way around? Is life just one big hustle to the ideal future that will never be found, a race to a sublime idea of a life so ideal? Or will hustling just drain me of life and zeal? Am I hustling to prove a point or show I'm strong? I keep up the hustle but it just feels wrong. I want to turn life around and smile at last. To live, laugh, and love to the fullest instead of rushing through fast. Feeling conflicted while thoughts collide, expectations rising and tensions flux, All I want is release, sweet release from all the struggle, to break the cycle of sorrow called the hustle.
