Very soon the troubles will dominate the day

Geared only to please solutions in the making

Artificial doubles clouding the only Way

“The spirit is willing but the flesh is weak”

Giving us an excuse to live second rate

In our overbilling of trouble to the peak

We start self-abuse about our confusing fate

“Once saved always saved”, just words somewhere written

Never a reality in our bouncing level of “faith”

Mostly in an outrage always on the verge of quitting

A misunderstood fatality as we’d never had a base
