HyperFocused

Restless nights, Waking days,

For someone never in gaze,

You've rooted in the haze of my mind.

I can never be rid of you,

Always on my mind as a Taunt,

A reminder,

Why have I subjected myself to this,

Why does my own brain sabotage me,

Why can't my thoughts ever change,

Why you?
