Hypnos
Not a sound was heard, save for a snore-
For there laying on the sidewalk was young man Hypnos.
He had not made it far from his house when it happened,
For the poor sad lad, had merely been walking,
When his shadowous fiend came a knocking.
To others it is quite an odd sight,
But one cannot control sleep, not quite yet.
His body had become sluggish-
His mind hazed-
Even his sight began to fog-
As his devilish fiend crept closer, long claws pulling poor Hypnos eyelids.
‘To sleep’ the fiend whispered,
And out like a light became Hypnos adventure.
For a fiend like Narco, is something all should fear.
Rare is he, until he is near.
Now with quiet steps and a crooked grin-
Narco was off-
His lepsy was over and so was poor Hypnos.
