Hypocritical
Dear "friends,"
You hunger for the support,
You crave the spotlight,
And you devour all you get.
You promise what you can't give,
You fail to deliver,
And I can't help but feel jilted.
I can't help but be surprised,
Yet it's the same old cycle.
Some believe the defintion of insanity
is repetitive failure,
So I guess that would make me insane.
I refuse to be insane;
I refuse to be the one in the wrong;
They are wrong;
They owe me what I have so
unconditionally given.
I deserve their support;
I deserve to be listened to;
We all deserve to be listened to.
The story isn't just about you;
The story is about all of us.
Sincerely,
Your "friend"
