Hœnir and The Mímir

The advice from Mímir was surrounding, supportive,

consuming and debilitating.

The feeling of a sentence derived from admiration.

With the seeds of ideas planted,

did Hœnir learn to grow independently from it,

or did he just convince himself that he did?

Honor, pride, and strength

was promised from decisions only he could make,

But what manifested was

horror, fear, and toxicity.

Learning by another name.

Learned from someone else.

How does he relearn love,

how do we reteach respect,

when he has only responded to

one answer for so long?

An answer from another’s thought.

How does he answer?

Is it even his answer?

Questions for who is responsible

is all that is left.
