I

"Nothing Matters." is the most devastating yet comforting statement I've ever heard. If nothing has any lasting effects that means every single mistake made or embarrasing moment we've lived through will be forgotten. If there is nothing that matters then we are the only thing that matters to ourselves. I've had an existential crisis for quite a bit of time. And every time I stayed up until my eyes were blurry writing poems about how I felt the futility of attempting anything, it only led me to realize that the more I pondered, the more depressed I became. Writing poems about depression made me write it all out onto my paper and that cured me of my existential dread.
