As I admire you

As I admire you

As I Count each freckle on your glowing face

As I bless each line and curve that makes up you .

As I think Mother Nature must have crafted your eyes with a mixture of  fertile soil brown and spring leaves green.

As I dream of you gentle lips on me .

As I admire each perfect imperfections

While you touch my rough hands and pull away .

As you wonder why my hair isn’t long the way you want it to be .

As you look of each stretch mark and wonder how much could she weigh.

As you gasp that something so perfect could never love something so flawed

As  you leave me empty ,hurt ,and human as I admire you.
