I ain't
I aint that guy trying to show out daily,
I don’t have anyone to impress.
I aint that guy that recycles women,
I wasn’t brought up to have that capacity.
I aint that guy who can afford a kingdom,
adversity strengthens my frugality.
I aint that guy who listens when he’s required to learn,
the wine matured early.
I am that man that would cough up his last dollar,
even when drowning in murky water.
I am that man who doesn’t spit game,
spit maturity to make her thoughts about love happy.
I am that man that can grieve underneath layers of false joy and pseudo-friendships,
that’s the pain felt as it overwhelms my entrails.
I am that man who wasn’t made like a Greek statue,
worn out, broken down, my internal pump will soon stop running.
We are the people dying quickly,
Just to decay in the ground slowly.
