I almost said


To the one I hold most dearly To the one who healed my wounds To the one who lifted my feet above the waters To the one whom I should have thanked more I am sorry My wrongdoings My corroded thoughts My abhorrent views and self-reflections Most importantly, your trust I destroyed it all Is what I should have said before the hourglass ran out of sand and I ran out of time
