I Already Know
You don't need to say
Why you ask
How my day has been
Every day,
No matter what,
Or why
You always give me a gift
Whenever we see each other,
Even though I tell you
That it really Isn't necessary,
Or why
You don't care
When I don't reply to your texts,
Even though the only reason
Is because
I can't stand the thought
Of talking to someone else.
You don't need to tell me
Why you never want to leave
When we get to see each other,
Even though I tell you
You need to go home
Because you live so far away.
You don't need to tell me why,
Because I already know.
You don't need to tell me
"It's because I love you,"
Because I know,
And I do what I do
Because I love you too.
