I always race to fall in love

day 1

nike soles step firmly upon the pedestal

i’ve never been fond of running or track

but i had to adopt a new hobby when you left me as a decimal

i fell into the way you obtain an addiction to crack

i always race to fall in love

day 2

i haven’t stopped thinking of you

i haven't relinquished to anyone

i usually don't fall this hard but you’re an acception

i was in such a rush and couldn't keep my paces

should’ve tied my laces

but you can't help what you feel

I always race to fall in love

day 3

im trapped in a sentence and beg my plea

you know of my beliefs and the extent of my feelings

but its hard for me to form proper words, sometimes they dont really match what I mean to say

tomorrow I will try to make you fall for me

no worry, no stress, I’ve got time it’sday 3

I always race to fall in love

day 4

my heart is sore

i’ve given all i possibly can

but if I’m right, there's no need to exploit myself for a man

You’ve turned me down so, that I can except

I presume i'll turn around and just sit at my desk

I always race to fall in love

(come and gone is)day 5

and I’ve never felt so alive

I don’t need your acceptance

I can supply my own dependance

female entitlement and shit

excessive empowerment

I always race to fall in love

day 6

I lied

for some reason I feel I need your messy hair and bad puns

I don’t know if i’ve told you 7 or 8 times but I love you tons

your ethereal being produces consensual admire

we get on like a house fire

on my heart you hold the tightest grip

when, and how, did I ever doubt this relationship

day 7

it's been a week and i've been to hell and heaven

i’ve never been fond of running or track

I’ll have to adopt a new hobby since you left me as a decimal

i’ll have to go cold turkey, I’ll have to abandon this addiction like crack

i always race to fall in love
