I am..

A hero, walking into the sunset

A villian curious 'bout the son he never met

a king without a kindom

a lumberjack with no forests

a farmer with no farm

a worker without work

I am every vice
that fills your veins like ice

that bottle in your hand
that taste you cant stand

those thoughts you forget

about that person you just met

the judgement you pass

as though your house is not made of glass

I am that action of guilt

as you huddle under a prison quilt

I am that which make you pleased

the dance in the trees

the frosty drifts up to your knees.

the water lashing the shore

the wind in your face as you soar

I am my memories

of a swing in the trees

my dreams

of a happy family

my pleas

for a land of prosperity

all that, I represent

and all that I abhor

I am that which I adore
