I Am....

I am withdrawn

I blend in behind the scenes

I am withdrawn

I observe everything

I know the things that others don’t

I tend to say

What others won’t

I often hear what they say about me

Many think I’m just unfriendly

Because I don’t take part

In being petty

I’d rather sit to wait and see

Just how long

They won’t notice me

I sit and think

Often to myself

If I was a word what would I be?

I now know the word that’s meant for me

I am withdrawn as can be.
