I AM

I AM

Brooklyn's Finest,

Please let me remind ya,

that I havent been in Brooklyn for a while,

but I AM...

Brooklyn's Finest!

The first thing they see is,

STREET, HOOD, UP TO NO GOOD.

I AM Brooklyn's finest.

I AM the reason they have drugs in this town

I AM the reason povery went up!
I'm holding them down.

I AM the reason your uncle has no teeth!

I AM to blame for the litter upon your streets..

I AM Brooklyn's finest!

This melanin in my skin,

makes it even better!

"This Cocoa FO SHO"

They're labelling me ghetto..

I AM Brooklyns finest

Beautiful young lady from the heights,

Where the young and old looked up to.

Gone away to a school in a small town

where they believe im up to...

NO GOOD.

I AM Brooklyn's Finest.

"You must be here for sports,

Do you play basketball"

NO!

I AM Brooklyn's finest!

I got here with a pencil and a paper.

I throw away my trash

and I never touched a drug in my life.

I AM Brooklyn's finest!

I made my mama proud

she always said "succeed in silence"

but now I'm yelling it out loud..

I AM Brooklyn's Finest!
