I AM

I am a melody
I wonder how I’ll live my life
I hear what I feel in my head
I see a story full of hope
I want to be the music
I am a melody

I pretend I'm the emotion
I feel like an emotion
I touch an idea
I worry for the music
I cry for the harmony
I am a melody

I understand what I'm about
I say I will try
I dream for the plot
I try to do what I can
I hope some day I can be a song but for now
I am a melody
