I am

I am fearless and valiant

I wonder how the carousel never stops turning

I hear the faint laughs

I see the figures

I want to stop time in its tracks

I am fearless and valiant

I pretend to fly

I feel the rush of adrenaline

I touch the night air

I worry the natural high will fade

I cry that the moment will be forever lost

I am fearless and valiant

I understand how life works

I say the darkness will fade

I dream for a brighter tomorrow

I try to keep playing to the beat of my own drum

I hope these memories will last a lifetime

I am fearless and valiant
