As I Am

I can't believe you let me in,

please help me understand.

how could you find a place for me

as I am?

I am no ones inspiration,

just an ordinary man.

So how can I be welcome here

as I am?

You look through me.

You see it all.

How come I feel comfortable?

This can't be right?

There's something wrong.

Im sure I don't belong.

And then your love runs through my heart

as you reach out your hand.

I now realize you are taking me

as I am.
