I Am

When I was little I would say:

I am going to grow up to be beautiful

I am going to grow up to be smart

I am going to grow up to be a princess

I am going to grow to be perfect

As I began to grow up I would say:

            I am nothing but ugly

            I am nothing but dumb

I am nothing but a failure

I am nothing but a disgrace

As I am finish growing up I say:

I am going to get through this

I am going to be fine

I am going to be strong

I am going to be beautiful

When I am grown up I will say:

            I am beautiful

            I am proud of myself

            I am strong

            And I am perfect
