I Am

I am from wireless Beats by Dre from PoP and R&B.

I am from the table from knives and forks.

I am from the rose bush.

The smell of the roses whose long gone limbs I remember as if they were my own.

I’m from economics and finance from my mom and my aunt.

I’m from being quiet and shy and from caring way too much.

I’m from “Never talk to strangers” and “Look both ways when you cross the street” and “You can do anything if you put your mind to it.”

I’m from watching football every Sunday and Monday nights.

I’m from Middletown, Ohio and United States.

Baked beans and Spaghetti from my mom making big dinners during the holidays.

I’m from my family photo on living room table.
